On Wednesday, April 1, at 12:30, a technical tour will be organized at the Intergeo company facilities. Conference participants are invited to visit the new Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant of INTERGEO Hellas, located in the Industrial Area of Thermi, Thessaloniki. This state-of-the-art facility hosts a fully integrated sludge management system designed specifically for sludge contaminated with petroleum products. During the visit, participants will have the opportunity to explore an innovative treatment line that combines advanced centrifugation with vacuum-suction technologies to achieve high-efficiency separation and simultaneous hydrocarbon recovery. The system represents a major step forward in sustainable waste management, enabling the safe treatment of complex industrial residues while recovering valuable resources. This visit offers a unique opportunity to see cutting-edge environmental engineering in action and to engage directly with the experts who developed and operate the system. Participation is for free but requires registration.
